Why CU? I fell in love with College Union when I saw them perform in AirJam. I appreciated all of the hard work they invested so that my friends and I could have a fun-filled Friday night. I saw all of the joy they brought to campus and I wanted to be a part of that.
About me: I grew up in Santa Monica, CA as the youngest of 6 siblings. I absolutely loved growing up in a quirky, loud and down-right fun family. Growing up with a family of strong personalities, I’ve learned to be flexible, yet commanding when needed. My older sister, Emily, graduated from Wheaton in 2011 and she sparked my inner Wheaton flame.
What’s your favorite place on campus to connect with friends? SAGA. I mean, food and friends--that is all anybody needs.
How would you describe the dinner hour in Anderson Commons to someone outside of the Wheaton Community? It is a very hard place to find an open table.
If you had to perform in the Talent Show what would your act be and who would be in it? My roommate, Rachel, and I would perform the song, “This is What Dreams are Made of,” from The Lizzie McGuire Movie. She would be Lizzie and I would be her Italian twin, Isabella. It’s a great, family-friendly song and dance that can always start the party.
Favorite CU event and why? Probably the Roller Disco.
How has the community at Wheaton impacted you? I have learned that living for Christ does not have to be a mundane religious affiliation. I am understanding that living in a community that is centered around Christ is life-giving and not cumbersome. The strong relationships I have made are shaping and molding me everyday.
