Why CU? CU creates space to share the joy of the Lord together. Sounds pretty good to me.
About Me: Even though I grew up in the South, I regrettably never developed a charming Southern accent like my father. I guess you could call me the "baby" of 3 kids--2 girls and 1 boy. I hope to get into creative design after Wheaton. Now now, you might wonder "Creative design? Absurd-he's an IR major." Well, you'd be right. But I love to learn both how to reflect a fraction of the creativity of our good King as well as how God is moving among the governments of our world today.
What’s your favorite place on campus to connect with friends? Blanchard Lawn is pretty rad. It's kind of perfect if you feel like rolling down the gentle slope, singing sing-along songs with a couple o' chums, kickin' your boots off to let the grass blades swim around the toes, and nap.
How would you describe the dinner hour in Anderson Commons to someone outside of the Wheaton Community? A bustling place of smiles, munchies, and real talk.
If you had to perform in the Talent Show what would your act be and who would be in it? It's pretty simple really: Beyonce, Julien Atis, and myself would casually rock out to a little Countdown rendition.
Favorite CU event and why? Air Jam. No doubt. It's too much fun to see what different people on campus come up with. There's something about performing AND watching Air Jam that bonds both the audience and the people on stage.
How has the community at Wheaton impacted you? I've most appreciated bouncing wacky ideas off other students who seriously consider their faith and explore what it means to serve Jesus radically in this generation. I witness grace extended from person to person on a daily basis and it inspires me to further navigate what it means to receive Grace from heaven.
