Local Church Involvement
It sounds simple but remember that Wheaton College is a community of believers and has wonderful resources but is not a church. Therefore the first thing to do when you are thinking of being mobilized for missions as either a sender or are going is to get involved as a regular worshipper at a local church. Let church leaders know of your heart for missions and ask them to start praying for you. Acts 13 gives the wonderful example of Paul and Barnabas being sent out for missions from the local church.

101 Ways to Be a World Christian
By Rachel Dorr
Okay, so we can't actually list 101 ways to be a World Christian... but the opportunities really do seem infinite. Even if you don't see yourself as a typical "missionary," any skill or gifting you have can be used to further God's kingdom.

If you have questions about your role in the mission movement or would just like to chat and pray with someone about God's will for your life, e-mail the Office of Christian Outreach.

This is another list similar to our own, documenting the many ways you can be involved in God's kingdom work here and abroad.
