Possible Trips for GUP 2009
International Trips:
South Africa:
Work with a variety of urban ministries for children, youth, and adults in Capetown.
Phillipines, Servant Partners:
Work with this urban mission organization involved in immersion programs and holistic ministry to the slum communities.
Domestic Trips:
Washington DC, Little Lights:
Live in community in the inner city of DC to pray, break bread and serve at-risk children thorugh day camps. Also provide training and spiritual discipleship towards issues ranging from Jesus' compassion for those in need of racial reconciliation to God's heart for justice.
Denver CO, INNERchange:
Work at a transitional housing facility called Joshua Station.
Los Angeles CA, Los Angeles Urban Project:
Work with InterVaristy to connect students with churchs and organizations in the area. Participate in a wide variety of ministries.
