This year our trips are split into two different categories:

Early Decision Trips - Sign-up is December 8th, 2008 in the Office of Christian Outreach

Additional Trips - Sign-up is January 21st, 2009 in the Phelps Conference Room from 8am-12pm after 12pm, (Noon),

you can sign-up in the Office of Christian Outreach.

EARLY DECISION TRIPS

Due to advance group airline ticketing requirements, early decision trips must be signed up for before Christmas Break. Sign-ups will be done on a first-come, first-served basis beginning December 8th at 7:30am, in the Office of Christian Outreach/ North Beamer Student Center.

A $100 non-refundable deposit is due at sign-up along with your passport or copy of your passport for the London trip.

Your Non-Refundable deposit will be applied to your total trip cost.

HONOLULU, HAWAII
Spend a week partnering with Kalihi Union Church engaging in community improvement projects with an emphasis on local schools. Sleeping bag required.

LONDON, ENGLAND
Engage in urban ministry in one of the world's major cities, working with St. James Clerkenwell Church, InnerCHANGE and minister to youth and to the homeless.

ALABAMA
Serve with Lincoln Village Ministry impacting residents in the Huntsville community through medical, emotional, and educational ministry. We are partnering with Applied Health Sciences for this trip -- Please contact Dr. Carlson or Dr. Walters before signing up.

ANGOLA STATE PRISON, LOUISIANA
Spend an amazing week with inmates in a Louisiana prison. Learn from and encourage incarcerated Christians, minister to death row inmates and reach out to those who don't know Christ.

DENVER, COLORADO
Serve the community of Denver and Aurora, Colorado through the meeting of physical, social, and spiritual needs. Work with Prodigal Gatherings Ministries and Sox Place to build relationships with youth experiencing homelessness.

KATRINA RELIEF
Work alongside EFCA Crisis Response, Urban Impact Ministries, and Castle Rock Community Church in activities such as debris removal, meal preparations, home construction, assisting in administrative duties, and church facility maintenance.

JACKSON, MISSISSIPPI
Prepare to engage with issues of racial reconciliation as you join Mendenhall Ministries in their community work, Hurricane Katrina aid, and work on the farm. Includes a trip to the National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis.

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA
Learn about the spiritual dynamics of San Francisco as you serve in a wide variety of ways including: ministering to patients at a hospital, serving in a food bank, spending time with the homeless, and partnering with innerCHANGE, a Christian order among the poor.

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH
Work with Standing Together in a relationship-oriented ministry, engaging the Latter Day Saint culture and religion through interfaith dialogues with Mormon students on Brigham Young University and University of Utah campuses.

SAVANNAH, GEORGIA
Serve with the Savannah Baptist Center playing with children and completing various work projects. Help construct houses for those who cannot afford housing through Habitat for Humanity.
