Cindra Stackhouse Taetzsch Appointed Interim Vice President of Advancement & Alumni Relations

Wheaton College President Philip Ryken is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Cindra Stackhouse Taetzsch as Interim Vice President of Advancement & Alumni Relations.

Beginning December 9, Stackhouse Taetzsch will be responsible to the President for the Advancement & Alumni Relations Division, including Alumni Relations, Development, Gift Planning, Institutional Partnerships, Marketing Communications and Advancement Services.

Stackhouse Taetzsch, a 1982 graduate of Wheaton College, is currently Director of Alumni and Parent Relations and Executive Director of the Wheaton College Alumni Association. Prior to her current role, she served as associate director of Alumni Relations and also spent several years in corporate positions in New York and Austin, Texas.

“Cindra has a proven track record working with both College constituents and campus staff to advance Wheaton’s mission,” Ryken says. “In addition to organizing on-campus reunion events and engaging alumni worldwide, Cindra and her team have undertaken significant efforts to help students transition to the marketplace. I am confident in her leadership of the critical initiatives underway in Advancement & Alumni Relations.”

“One of the reasons Wheaton College has remained strong for over 150 years is because alumni, parents, and friends care deeply about the mission of this school,” Stackhouse Taetzsch says. “It’s a privilege to lead the team charged with helping the Wheaton family stay connected and generously support our gifted faculty and students.”

In her interim role, Stackhouse Taetzsch succeeds Dr. R. Mark Dillon, who recently accepted a position as Executive Vice President for Mission Advancement at American Bible Society after serving at Wheaton College for 19 years.

Stackhouse Taetzsch and her husband Daniel, a 1981 Wheaton College graduate, have three children.
