The Artist Series at Wheaton College presents the Cashore Marionettes in performances on September 21 at 7:30 p.m. and September 22 at 4 p.m.
Joseph Cashore has performed with his marionettes for more than 30 years. His programs are storytelling experiences featuring scenes choreographed to works by Beethoven, Copland, Vivaldi and Strauss.
“The Cashore Marionettes are captivating and life-affirming. Joseph Cashore’s artistry is dramatic and elegant—he is a master of complexity,” says Tony Payne, general manager of the Artist Series. “We chose to present this program because we know it will resonate with children and families.”
