Lecture: "Emotions and Moral Knowledge"

Robert C. Roberts

In a philosophy lecture titled “Emotions and Moral Knowledge,” Robert C. Roberts will talk about the role emotions play in realizing moral truths. The lecture takes place at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, November 17.

Dr. Roberts is Distinguished Professor of Ethics at Baylor University. He has written and edited numerous books during his career. Currently, he is the Plantinga Fellow in the Center for Philosophy of Religion at the University of Notre Dame, where he is working on a book titled Emotions and Virtues.

This lecture is the third in the 2011-2012 Philosophy Lecture Series at Wheaton College. It is free and open to the public, and will be held in room 339 of Blanchard Hall, located at 501 College Avenue in Wheaton.
