Christmas in July on WETN--FM 88 and Online
WETN wants to offer you some relief from the summer heat! For 24 hours on Friday, July 29th, Christmas music will take over the airwaves for a special “Christmas in July” celebration on radio and online. In addition to the music, WETN will be giving away a variety of gifts and prizes all day long.
Christmas music will begin at the stroke of midnight on Friday, July 29th and will continue until midnight Saturday, July 30th. The holiday tunes can be heard in Chicago’s western suburbs at 88.1 FM, or around the world at wetn.org.
WETN is known for its vast library of more than 2,000 Christmas songs, with styles including the traditional and the eclectic, the sacred and the popular, and the classic and current. Listeners can enjoy this Christmas music on July 29th, as well as during WETN’s “Soundtrack for Christmas” programming, which begins the day after Thanksgiving and continues through New Year's Day.
WETN is also giving away a variety of gifts and prizes all day long. Morning show host Joy Curry will add to the “Christmas in July” merriment from 6 to 10 a.m. CDT. The show will feature guests, big giveaways, including gift certificates to Six Flags Great America, Weber Grill Restaurant, Cantigny Golf’s Red Oak Room, Museum of Science and Industry, Chick-fil-A, Brookfield Zoo, Shedd Aquarium, Kane County Cougars Baseball, Hasbro, and much more.
