Wheaton Students Around the World

"Hello from Team Zambia! Our team is living and working in Ndola, Zambia with the Jubilee Centre for 6.5 weeks," wrote Lisa Moore.

"This photo of us was taken while in the community of Mapalo visiting Emmanuel, who is in his early twenties and caring for his two younger brothers, Michael and David (6 and 7 years old). Their parents both died from HIV/AIDS recently. Emmanuel volunteers as a 3rd grade math teacher, and he has no way of making income to support his brothers. His greatest hope is that his brothers will be able to continue their education. One of the activities we have done with the Jubilee Centre is visit child-headed homes (like Emmanuel's). We talk with them, deliver food supplies, and pray together."
