Professional and Personal Interests
Dr. Josephson began teaching mathematics at Wheaton College in August 1982. Over the past two decades, he has developed special interest in geometry, number theory, and probability and statistics. His sabbaticals at Northwestern University in 1992 and at Northern Illinois University in 1999 provided in depth learning in these areas. In addition to his interest in mathematics, Dr. Josephson enjoys observational astronomy, classical music, opera, chess, crossword puzzles, and scrabble. He and his wife Phyllis are blessed with three daughters, three sons-in-law, and three grandchildren. The progeny are scattered about the globe in Appleton, WI; Phoenix, AZ; and Aalborg, DK.
