About Liz
I grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. My life was changed when I was 13 while at my church's summer camp. I decided I wanted to begin a personal journey following Jesus and got baptized in the lake at camp. In college I pursued ministry and received a Bachelor's from Trinity International University, which is also when I met my husband Dan!
In 2010, Dan and I started working at HoneyRock in the Graduate Apprentice program. We came here interested in doing camp ministry as a vocation and wanted to learn more about what God had for us.
Currently I am working as the Group Retreat Coordinator/Service Team Coordinator. I am also working on my Master's in Evangelism and Leadership at Wheaton College. I really enjoy working at HoneyRock and watching all the unique ways the Lord transforms people. I'm always up for an adventure and it's a awesome being able to work outdoors! I like the different seasons of ministry being able to work with adults, college students and youth. It's a privilege being an extension of Wheaton College and serving with them in ministry. It's personally fun and motivating to work on my Master's degree, especially being able to use at work the concepts I learn in class.
