About Bill
I grew up in Berkeley, MO. I went to Wheaton College where I received at BA Math. I met my wife Nancy there, we have four children: Amy, Trevor who is now married to Cassie, Betsy who is now married to Nate, and Ben.
My first experience with HoneyRock was when I was a student in the SLS program in 1971. I started working full time in Site and Facilities in May 1975. I have been at HoneyRock for 32 years.
I grew up in a Christian home with parents who loved the Lord and were very active in the church. So I was brought up learning a lot about Jesus, but it wasn't until I was nine, at summer camp, that I understood my personal sin and my need for a Savior. That year I accepted Him as Lord at a church meeting. My high school years and years at Wheaton College were very instrumental in the growth of my desire to serve Him.
I work at HoneyRock because I see God using this "Place Apart" to touch many lives in a significant spiritual way. As wonderful as it is to be a part of that I have also had that in my own life. I am so thankful for the many individuals and experiences that God has used to minister to myself and my family here. God is only good.
