About Ann
I grew up in Normal, Illinois (yes, Normal). I went to Wheaton College for undergrad, DePaul for graduate school, and am now at Seattle Pacific University for my final master's degree--in Creative Writing. My husband, Michael, and I live in Wheaton, where he is a pastor.
I have loved Jesus since I was a little girl; my parents love God and raised me and my sister in a house that centered around Christ. I cannot remember a time when I didn't know Him, and for that I am extremely thankful! My personal relationship with Jesus really deepened in my teenage years, and I had the privilege of seeing many of my friends give their lives to Christ. My husband and I now lead the young adults ministry at our church and love getting to partner with others who are growing in their walk with God.
My favorite part about working for HoneyRock is the relationships that I have with my co-workers. Here in the Southwoods (on campus), our office is a small but dynamic environment, and the focus is clearly on Christ. We pray together weekly, laugh together often, and are all committed to the vision of helping students become more fully like Jesus through the unique experience of camp ministry. Plus, we have a s'more maker in the office—trying to bring the Northwoods to campus!
