Inaugural Symposium in Human Needs and Global Resources

Reflections from Our Journey/Visioning a Future:
Emerging Paths in Transformational Development for a Globalizing World

The Inaugural Wheaton College Symposium in Human Needs and Global Resources, on the occasion of the 30th Anniversary of the HNGR Program, was held February 23-24, 2006 (see brochure). The Rev Dr. Vinay Samuel gave an inaugural address entitled:

Transforming our Cultures: A Gospel Agenda

Other highlights included panels, workshops and interactive conversations, the annual HNGR Chapel and Poster Day presented by students recently returned from their HNGR internships, and opportunities for participants to connect, learn from each other, and consider the challenges of kingdom living in a global context.
