Why the Wheaton Fund?
The Wheaton Fund is the engine of Wheaton’s mission. As the primary funding vehicle through which Wheaton College advances its highest priorities, the Wheaton Fund is sustained by the unrestricted gifts of alumni, parents, and friends.
The Wheaton Fund continues to support the essential components of a Wheaton education that it has historically funded. These include keeping Wheaton affordable by subsidizing the cost of every student’s education by up to $12,500 per year and supporting extracurricular programming and faculty development opportunities that enrich the student experience. Today, an expanded Wheaton Fund also helps support Wheaton’s Strategic Priorities by
- Globalizing a Wheaton education
- Deepening ethnic diversity
- Promoting liberal arts excellence
- Enhancing music and the performing arts
This new and expanded Wheaton Fund allows more funds to be used to fully prepare students to serve Christ's Kingdom.
