Giving to Wheaton College

[We were] convinced that Wheaton College had the best estate planning program that could facilitate our needs and provide for our various Kingdom causes.”

Giving to Wheaton College

I’m so thankful that we have the opportunity to give back to this generation of Wheaton students… it is a privilege to be a part of.

Giving to Wheaton College

We wanted a way to benefit Wheaton and give back in a tangible way, as well as plan for a secure retirement and take care of our children after our passing in the most tax effective way."

Philanthropic Advising

Billy Graham has described giving and generosity in the following way:
"God has given us two hands – one to receive with and the other to give with. We are not cisterns made for storing; we are channels made for giving."

Meet our Senior Philanthropic Advisor

Wheaton College is intentional about growing the heart of every giver we come in contact with as well as growing our own hearts as we share in community how God is leading us towards Kingdom generosity. We have a position here at Wheaton designed to help families work through this process. David Melilli, as Senior Philanthropic Advisor, provides innovative, tax-efficient solutions to help Kingdom builders maximize their impact, simplify their giving and create a legacy of generosity for their family.

We help families define a legacy of generosity and equip future generations to live as "channels" instead of "cisterns." Wherever you are in your giving journey, we can provide personalized, practical solutions and wise guidance as you navigate these family decisions and strive for Christ-centered biblical generosity.

Why Professional Advisors?

We believe generosity is developed and grown in a number of ways. Typically it could involve financial advisors, pastors, lawyers, accountants, philanthropic advisors, foundations, and other givers. We continually seek to foster connections among these individuals to maximize our Kingdom impact and provide excellence to the friends of Wheaton College. Families engaged in the process of defining their legacy of generosity need their professional advisors and philanthropic advisors to act in concert to bring about real change and impact. We are excited to have a position here at Wheaton dedicated to fostering these relationships, increasing our ability to serve families for Christ and His Kingdom.
