Wayne Frey

Wayne Frey

Regional Director of Development

Wayne Frey is Wheaton's regional director of development for the Great Lakes. Wayne has served as a regional director since 2001. He earned his B.A. at Tulsa University after spending his freshman year at Taylor University. Wayne joined Wheaton after 23 years in medical equiment sales. Wayne and his wife, Nancy, who works in the College's human resources department, have four children. "To see firsthand and hear how God is working through Wheaton grads locally and around the world is not only exciting but motivating for Nancy and me."

Kevin Engel

Kevin Engel

Regional Director of Development

Kevin Engel is a regional director of development for Wheaton College in the Chicago area. Kevin earned his B.A. from Wheaton in 1984, and after earning an M.Div. from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Kevin returned to Wheaton to serve in the Office of Christian Outreach for six years. He has served in ministry in the U.S. and overseas, most recently as a pastor of Jericho Road Church in Wheaton. Kevin and his wife, Jan Beers Engel '85, have three children, one of whom is a Wheaton alumna.

Tom Farley

Tom Farley

Regional Director of Development

Tom Farley is Wheaton College's regional director of development for the central U.S. Tom accepted the post within development at Wheaton College in August 2008. "It is humbling to be part of Wheaton's 150-year heritage of service to 'Christ and His Kingdom.'" Tom and his wife, Victoria, have served in non-profit educational and health care organizations throughout their lives.

Eric Hamsho

Eric Hamsho

Regional Director of Development

Eric Hamsho is Wheaton's regional director of development for the southwestern U.S. Eric earned a Bachelor of Music degree with elective studies in business from Wheaton College in 1993. Since graduating, he has served as a pastor of worship and music in three congregations, most recently in Raleigh, North Carolina. Eric has found great joy investing in the local church through the teaching and leading of worship. He also enjoys spending time with his family and the opportunity to coach his kids in baseball and soccer. Eric and his wife Stacia are privileged and excited to be a part of the Wheaton College community with their three children, Ben, Jaimeson, and Elliana.

Corey Noonan

Corey Noonan

Regional Director of Development

Corey Noonan is Wheaton's regional director for development for the western region. Corey earned his B.A. in Communication from Wheaton College in 2003. He has worked in private education in south Florida as an administrator, teacher, and coach. More recently, Corey worked in the commercial business insurance industry and served as an assistant football coach at Wheaton College. Corey, his wife Debbie '02, and their two children reside in Wheaton. "The spiritual, educational, and professional training a Wheaton education provides is second to none, and we praise God for the close friendships we took with us from Wheaton that remain a big part of our lives."

Julie Bullock

Julie Bullock

Director of Development

Julie Bullock earned a B.A. in Business/Economics from Wheaton in 2004 and served as a regional director of development at Wheaton from 2005-2007. Julie then spent four years as a senior generosity consultant with Generis Partners, guiding the strategy and execution of more than 50 capital campaigns, before returning to Wheaton in 2012. Julie shares, "One of my passions is working alongside talented, committed team members in growing the hearts of givers toward Kingdom purposes. Specifically at Wheaton, these Kingdom purposes are the life-shaping priorities of Wheaton College."

Erin Shade

Erin Shade

Assoc. Director of Development

Erin Ripley Shade earned her B.A. from Wheaton in 1992, then served in Wheaton's Advancement and Alumni Relations division from 1993 to 2002. After taking a hiatus to attend to three young sons, Erin joined the development staff in 2010 to help fellow Wheaton alumni and friends connect to areas of funding interest at the College. Erin and her husband, Terry M.A. '94, reside in West Chicago with their boys, and her favorite Wheaton College class was History of Philosophy with Dr. Arthur Holmes.
