2016 Student Video Competition Winners

For this year's 2016 video contest, we asked students to capture what service at Wheaton means to them on video in less than three minutes.

This year's videos were judged on originality, creativity, production quality, and reflection of Wheaton's Mission and Community Covenant.

Grand prize: iPad Air 2
Runner-up prizes: Bose in-ear bluetooth headphones

Here are the three winning selections:

Grand Prize Winner: Solitude to Service

Kel JR-Cometa, 2017
Wheaton College Graduate School student in the Christian Formation and Ministry program

"I filmed Fischer Hall ResLife staff to depict the concept that service begins by being with God in solitude."

Runner Up: Diverse Service

Joe Engel '20

"From the moment I stepped onto campus for the first time, one thing I couldn't help but notice was how numerous the roles were here that contributed to the success of this special place."

Runner Up: Bon Appetit

Daniel Forkner '18

"Wheaton's food service, Bon Appetít, is incredibly loyal to Wheaton College and they embody what service means to me."
