What’s
the Deal with Dating? Perspectives on campus range from
completely "kissing dating good-bye" to "if
you can’t find a mate at a Christian college, you’ll never
find one at all". We discuss the Wheaton dating culture,
and offer a few of our own thoughts on how to improve your
male-female relational life (and why addressing this part
of your life is important).
Sexual
Behavior. A discussion of healthy and unhealthy ways
of expressing the sexual part of our identity. Acknowledges
the tension of students’ lives—on the one hand students
are in a developmental stage of learning to own and become
comfortable with their sexual selves; on the other hand,
as young Christian adults, they are in a stage of having
to learn to manage and discipline the behaviors that go
along with this developing part of themselves.
Addictions.
A broad look at the topic of addictions defined as "any
compulsive or habitual behavior that limits the freedom
of human desire." A look at the attachments of our
lives that usurp our calling to pursue love of God, love
of neighbor and love of self.
