Consortium Programs

The Communication Department supports two programs sponsored by the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities (CCCU):

Washington Journalism Center
"You follow the trail from one voice-mail inbox to the next. The searching isn't as much frustrating as exciting. What is truth? Who decides? The source or the reader? The writer or the editor? Can journalists turn into speechwriters? Where do you fit into all this? WJC seeks answers - to the basic 'who, what, when, where and how' as well as the deeper 'why'. It's time to test your calling."

Los Angeles Film Studies Center
"Do you analyze every film from The Lord of the Rings to Shrek? Think in movie quotes? Perfect. You are passionate. And LAFSC can help you get your foot in the door in Hollywood. In your classes and internship, you'll work side-by-side with professionals in film and TV. At the end of the semester you'll have a network of contacts working in the industry. Because in this town, who you know determines what you can do."
