We hope you take advantage of the opportunities that Wheaton College and the surrounding area offer.

The Wade Center, located on the northwest corner of campus, houses a major research collection of writings by and about seven British authors: Owen Barfield, G.K. Chesterton, C.S. Lewis, George MacDonald, Dorothy L. Sayers, J.R.R. Tolkien and Charles Williams. The Wade Center also has a museum that includes such pieces as C.S. Lewis' family wardrobe and writing desk, Pauline Baynes's original map of Narnia, and J.R.R. Tolkein's desk.

Another museum on campus is the Billy Graham Center Museum. This is located on the first floor of the Billy Graham Center, just steps away from our conference proceedings in Barrows Auditorium. The museum contains interesting displays including a history of evangelism, highlights of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, and a graphic presentation of the gospel.

The Sports and Recreation Center contains a large weight room with cardio and weight equipment, an olympic-sized pool, and indoor track. If you would like to use these facilities during the conference, please see CACE staff at the registration table to obtain an inexpensive guest pass.

Downtown Wheaton has a rich heritage and is now home to a growing number of good restaurants (if you even want to leave Wheaton's award-winning Anderson Commons!) Naperville, directly south of Wheaton, has a charming downtown with many fine dining and shopping opportunities, as well as a beautiful riverwalk. Please feel free to contact CACE staff during the conference for suggestions of local restaurants.

And of course, what would a visit to Chicago be without deep-dish pizza, a walk along the Magnificent Mile, and a ride on the Navy Pier Ferris wheel? If your schedule permits, we hope you can enjoy all the local activity while in town for the conference.
