Canadian Brass

Canadian Brass

Friday, September 15, 2017, Edman Chapel, 7:30pm

"After 40 years on stage, they've got the chops of virtuosos and the deadpan delivery of the best stand-up comic." The Plain Dealer

Founded in 1970, the Grammy Award-winning Canadian Brass has enjoyed a global reputation for nearly five decades. The current members are Chris Coletti and Caleb Hudson, trumpets, Bernhard Scully, horn, Achilles Liarmakopoulos, trombone, and Chuck Daellenbach, tuba.

An evening of family fun with music from trademark Baroque and Dixieland tunes, to new compositions and arrangements, the Canadian Brass has a unique rapport with audiences. The Washington Post praised them for an "unbeatable blend of virtuosity, spontaneity, and humor." Canadian Brass last appeared on the Artist Series in 2006, and the Artist Series is pleased to welcome them once again for thrilling evening of music for the whole family.
