Rigorous academics.  Steadfast faith.  A grace-filled community.  These are the hallmarks that students bring to our campus, as they bring their talents and gifts – who they are – to our community intent on living, growing, and learning as God desires.

Wheaton College looks for students who will add to our community.  We seek applicants who evidence a lively and vital faith, high academic ability, social concern, as well as moral character and personal integrity.  We seek to enroll well-rounded freshman classes, composed of 586 individuals with a wide variety of interests, accomplishments, backgrounds, and attributes, but who share their commitment to Christ and to a liberal arts education.

We take each application very seriously, and at least two Admissions Counselors will read the entire application.  In doing so, we evaluate autobiographical essays, recommendations, participation in extracurricular activities, interview report (if the applicant completed one), as well as academic record and test scores.  Conservatory students must also complete an audition; we encourage art students to submit a portfolio.

As we thoroughly and prayerfully consider each application, we ask that you engage in this process with us by praying and carefully completing your application, as well.
