Applying to Wheaton as an International Student

Thank you for your interest in Wheaton College! We are pleased you are applying and look forward to working with you throughout the application process.

For the purposes of admission to Wheaton College, an international student is defined as a non-U.S. citizen who does not have a U.S. permanent resident visa. If you are a citizen of the United States or its territories, or you have a U.S. permanent resident visa, you are not classified as an international applicant - please refer to the application instructions for the College of Arts & Sciences or Conservatory of Music.

Please read the instructions carefully and pay close attention to the deadlines. All the requirements listed must be met in order to be considered for admission.

Freshman admission decisions are made at two times during the year. Early Action students receive an early, non-binding admission decision (accept, refuse, or delayed decision) by December 31st. Early Action candidates must submit all required items so that they arrive in Admissions by November 1st. Regular Action students must submit all required items so that they arrive in Admissions by January 10th and will receive their admission decision (accept, refuse, or waiting list) by April 1st. Transfer deadlines are listed below. Please note that international applicants may only apply for the Fall term.
