M.A. in Counseling Ministries Admissions Requirements

1. Application Deadline: March 1. (International Students: January 1.)
   • Fall enrollment only.
2. Bachelor's Degree from a Regionally Accredited Institution.
3. Minimum GPA 3.0.
4. Nine Credit Hours of Prerequisites (see below).
5. Complete Application for Admission.
6. GRE General Test scores.

   • International students: Submit either the TOEFL (with TWE and TSE) or the IELTS instead of the GRE.
     • Paper -based TOEFL minimum: 600.
     • Internet-based TOEFL minimum: 100
8. Official Transcripts from all previous colleges or universities attended.
9. Four Recommendations.
   • Academic.
   • Pastoral (or other Christian leader).
   • Professional (employer).
   • Mental Health Professional (practicing therapist or psychology professor with doctorate).

14. Application Processing Fee: $30, non-refundable.

Prerequisites (9 hrs.)

All prerequisites must be taken from a psychology department—not an education or sociology department.
