Network Printing

Step 1: Install Print Trac

Note: Installing Print Trac requires administrative rights on your computer.

Windows Installation Instructions

Step 1
Download: Print Trac for Windows
After you have downloaded the installer, open it. A black box will appear for a moment saying "Installing Windows Print Trac client...". Once this box disappears, an installer will appear titled "Welcome to the Print Trac Educational Client Setup Wizard". Go through the installation process and at the end make sure "Launch client and verify my identity" is checked. Now you may close this window and proceed to Step 2.

NOTE: After installing Print Trac and iPrint, you must restart your internet browser before installing printers.

Supported Browsers: For the installation process to succeed, you must not use the Google Chrome browser. Feel free to use Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox.

Mac OS X Installation Instructions

 

Step 1
Download: Print Trac for Mac OS X and run the installer.

Step 2
Download the Macintosh Printer Drivers and install that package.

Step 3
Download:  iPrint for Mac OS X

NOTE: After installing Print Trac and iPrint, you must restart your internet browser before installing printers.

 

Supported Browsers: For the installation process to succeed, you must not use the Safari browser. Feel free to use any other modern browser; for example, Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox

 

Step 2: Install Printer Drivers

Click on the printer you would like to use and it will be set up and configured on your computer.
