The International Study Semester is a semester long program run by the Business/ Economics department. Students take a 12-hour package of department coursework that runs the entire semester. Credit is received in international business, international trade, comparative systems, and European political economy. During A quad, an additional four hours can be taken from any college course offerings. Immediately after term break, a three-week traveling seminar includes five countries in Europe with approximately 18 site visits, lectures and seminars. An additional charge of approximately $3,500 covers all travel expenses except personal shopping. The program runs on the even numbered years. Participation is selective with applications due in April of the preceding year.
