About Nathaniel LaLone
Nathan LaLone grew up as a pastor’s kid in Cadillac, Michigan where he attended a private Christian high school and received his college degree from Olivet Nazarene University. He joined the Army after the events of September 11th and started his career out as an enlisted soldier stationed at Hunter Army Airfield, Savannah, Georgia part of the 3rd ID. He deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2004, where his Platoon ran fuel operations for all aviation assets flying through Iraq.
After his four year commitment, he finished his college degree and Commissioned through ROTC into the Illinois Army National Guard. His first assignment was as a fuel and water platoon leader while completing an over sea training mission in Botswana, Africa as the Fuel Operations Officer in a Joint Training Exercise.
He has worked full time as an Assistant Officer Strength Manager for the state of Illinois and was the recruiting operations officer for Olivet prior to coming to Wheaton College. Nathan’s current military position is as the Executive Officer for A Company 405th BSB.
He currently resides in Limestone, Illinois with his wife Julie who teaches Science for Herscher High School.
