About Pamela Davis
Dr. Davis is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (North Carolina) and a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor for the Association of Play Therapy. Having spent 22 years as a missionary in Thailand, she maintains a keen interest in cross-cultural populations and understands first-hand the unique contribution that counselors and psychologists can make to missionary families. Dr. Davis provides clinical consultation to missionary organizations and offers online supervision to counselors working in remote, overseas locations where counseling resources are not available. When not working, she enjoys hiking, running, and experiencing almost anything new.

Research
Dr. Davis’s research interests include missionaries and other cross-cultural populations. Currently, she is intrigued by issues surrounding Third Culture Kid (TCK) repatriation, as well as the application of vicarious trauma models to the experience of cross-cultural workers.
