About Kelly Flanagan

Dr. Flanagan is married and has two young boys and a little girl who provide amusing examples for her classes. In addition to hanging out with her family she enjoys running and reading. Dr. Flanagan values the strong relationsps she develops with students and the opportunity to get to know each of them in her role as Psy.D. Program Director. As a clinician, she currently supervises students who are providing therapy and psychological assessment for children at Timothy Christian School.

Research

Dr. Flanagan's areas of interest and research include: developmental psychopathology, social development, peer relationships, and school-based mental health. She has published articles in Journal of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology, Journal of Abnormal Child Psychology, Journal of Psychology and Christianity, and Social Development. She teaches Professional Development and Ethics I & II, child elective courses, and a practicum seminar group. Dr. Flanagan also directs La Voz de Esperanza Lab.
