Quantitative Skills Test

Students graduating under the 2016 or an earlier catalog have the option of meeting their quantitative competency requirement by passing the quantitative skills test.

Registration and Cost

The quantitative skills test is administered on two occasions each year - during the A quad of each semester (see dates below). Registration begins in the math office (Meyer Science Center, Room 157) two weeks prior to the test date. A $10 fee is due at the time of registration.

2016-17 Test Dates

  • Wednesday, September 21 (Meyer Science Center Lecture Hall, Room 145– 7:00 p.m.)
  • Thursday, February 9, 2017 (Meyer Science Center Lecture Hall, Room 145 – 7:00 p.m.)

 

Quantitative competency can be met by completing one of the following:

  • Passing the quantitative skills test 
  • Passing an AAQR course (see course catalog) 

 

The quantitative skills test is 2 hours and consists of 33 multiple choice questions. A score of 22 is required to pass.
