The Applied Math project emphasis for 2010-2011 includes mathematical research oriented towards Earthquake Resistant Construction for developing communities. A ten day math/mission trip to Acapulco-Ometepec, Mexico is being planned. Students will help build earthquake-resistant camp cabins and/or school in conjunction with a Christian ministry.
