With over 60 years on U.S. campuses, IVCF has grown to over 30,000 students in 750 chapters on secular college campuses around the country. Umbrella organization International Fellowship of Evangelical Students is in 125 countries around the world. InterVarsity's vision is to see students and faculty transformed, campuses renewed and world changers developed.
Wheaton College Graduate School and InterVarsity Christian Fellowship have a strategic partnership to develop leaders in evangelism. Citing the crucial need for leaders who are able to thrive, embody and communicate the gospel in our contemporary world. Former Wheaton College President Dr. Duane Liftin articulates, "The partnership of Wheaton College with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship in this effort makes sense. Our goal is to work together to create a synergy in generating evangelistically-oriented leaders that neither organization working alone could achieve." This partnership is designed to connect staff with a passion for evangelism from InterVarsity Christian Fellowship with Wheaton Graduate School's Master of Arts in Evangelism and Leadership. As Terry Erickson, National Director for Evangelism with IVCF comments, "I am very excited about this opportunity to work together with the Wheaton College Masters program toward raising up a next generation of evangelism champions for InterVarsity around the country. I am also encouraged that the Director for the Wheaton program is a long time staff member and campus evangelist Rick Richardson."
