The music ensemble requirement is met by participation in the Concert Choir, Men’s Glee Club, Symphonic Band, Symphony Orchestra or Women’s Chorale. Jazz Ensemble will fulfill up to two hours (four semesters) of the music ensemble requirement. Special circumstances, such as an inordinate course load or significant technical transition on an instrument or voice, may require adjustments in the music ensemble requirement. These may occur on the recommendation of the appropriate Area Chair, the Music Ensemble Faculty Director and the Director of Performance Studies.
