Students are encouraged to pursue performing experiences beyond the classroom and off campus.
Performance Opportunities (Gig Board)
The Performance Area maintains a Gig Board announcing paid and volunteer performance opportunities for musicians. While there are many opportunities to provide incidental music or perform in special church programs, students are encouraged to actively pursue regular music ministry in a local church.
Artist Series at Wheaton College
In addition to several paid student staff positions, the Artist Series at Wheaton College engages a volunteer staff of ushers who, in exchange for their work, receive free admission to Artist Series events.
House Management Staff
Several paid student staff positions are available for the management of recital and concert events in Pierce and Edman Chapels, and Barrows Auditorium.
