About Robin Sterling
Robin Sterling, Guest Lecturer in Voice at Wheaton College, has enjoyed a career in opera, oratorio, and recital. She has appeared at Teatro Giuseppe Verdi in Busseto, Italy, Opera Southwest in Denver, Colorado, Chicago Opera Theater, DuPage Opera Theatre and has performed with the Waukesha Symphony and the University of Wisconsin Orchestra. Her roles include Queen of the Night in Die Zauberflöte, Gilda in Rigoletto, Cunegonde in Candide, Blonde in Die Entführung aus dem Serail, Yvette in La Rondine, Lidka in The Two Widows and Marybook in the Chicago Opera Theater premier of Pinderblock.
Ms. Sterling is a certified Feldenkrais practitioner and a member of the Feldenkrais Guild of North America. While she specializes in working with musicians, her practice includes working with private clients in all walks of life. She teaches classes throughout the area and currently teaches a Feldenkrais for Musicians course at Wheaton College.
In addition to her teaching and Feldenkrais work, she has a passion for producing multi-media concerts that portray the attributes and nature of God and has served as Director of Music and Worship at Christ Church Lake Forest.
She received her Master of Music in vocal performance from Northwestern University and studied in Italy with Carlo Bergonzi and Renata Tebaldi on a scholarship awarded by the Bel Canto Foundation.
