Concert Choir

Concert Choir

The choir motto for nearly three decades has been the statement by JS Bach: Music's only purpose should be for the glory of God and the recreation of the human spirit!

In accordance with this motto, the Concert Choir's tradition has been skillful performance of the highest quality repertoire through disciplined, rigorous rehearsal and commitment to the choir's artistic and spiritual goals. The choir is open to all Wheaton students regardless of major or classification--membership is based on vocal talent, skill at reading music, personal character and eagerness to help the choir achieve success. Experience in excellent choral programs and especially in all-state or honors choirs is considered essential for membership in this select choir.
