About Coreen Ogilvie

Coreen Ogilvie’s interests lie in working with the freshman labs and making the first year of biology as interactive and engaging as possible while covering a lot of topics. Coreen is typically the Coordinator for the Biology 241 & 242 first year labs as well as Coordinator for the Biology 201 non-majors labs. What got her hooked on biology is an advanced biology course she took in high school and the study of the cat.  She is an animal lover with a calico cat and Golden Retriever at home.  She loves to learn more about God’s creation through looking at how He put everything together so magnificently.  She also enjoys coordinating  and working with our great student staff consisting of 20-30 students each semester. Coreen is active as an Awana leader in her church, Women’s Bible study participant and is a big cheerleader for her family in all their interests and activities which keep her busy too. She loves to travel and has an interest in getting to learn about other cultures and those who live there.
