The White House Internship Program
The White House Internship Program provides a unique opportunity to gain valuable professional experience and build leadership skills. This hands-on program is designed to mentor and cultivate today’s young leaders, strengthen their understanding of the Executive Office of the President and engage them in public service opportunities. We are currently accepting applications for the Spring 2013 program.
We are reaching out to encourage you to pass along information to students interested in public service. We encourage everyone to visit http://www.whitehouse.gov/internships for detailed information about the program, the application process, a timeline with deadlines, and the departments that participate in the program. A complete application includes: short answers, two essay questions, a one-page resume, and two letters of recommendation. The deadline to apply for Spring 2013 is September 23, 2012.
CIA Undergraduate Internship Program - NCS
The National Clandestine Service (NCS) Internship Program is designed to give a limited number of talented undergraduate students the opportunity to work in supporting the NCS mission of collecting human intelligence on critical international developments. The NCS intern will be part of a unique world of important events and meaningful accomplishments.
Interns will work at our Headquarters facility in the Washington, D.C. suburbs with teams of knowledgeable professionals. Interns are required to work two 90-day non-consecutive internships prior to graduation from an accredited American university or college.
Student internship positions offer salaries competitive with the private sector and the same benefits as permanent employees.
Applications for internships starting in Summer 2013 will be accepted between May 15, 2012 and September 15, 2012.
