Great red cliffs of Aztec sandstone dominate the landscape at Valley of Fire State Park. Star Trek fans will recognize the location as the scene where Captain James T. Kirk met his doom in Generations. We happened to miss the passing of the Nexus through the park. Perhaps next time.
